About B.A.-M.A. Accelerated Degree Program: An academic system that links the undergraduate program at the college of International Studies with the master's program at the Graduate School of Pan-Pacific International Studies. By allowing students to earn credits toward early graduation, the required period of study for both the bachelor's and master's degrees can each be shortened by one semester, enabling students to obtain both degrees in a minimum of five years.

Application Procedure
Step 1) Apply for the Integrated Bachelor’s–Master’s Program (Administrative Office) →
Step 2) Admission to the Graduate School of Pan-Pacific International Studies →
Step 3) Apply for Early Graduation from the Undergraduate Program
Step 1) Application for the Integrated Bachelor’s–Master’s Program (Administrative Office)
• Eligibility: Applicants must meet all the following requirements.
- Freshmen-entry B.A. students who have completed (or are expected to complete) at least 5 semesters
(excluding transfer students).
-Cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.3 or higher and have earned (or are expected to earn) more than 2/3 of
the required graduation credits.
-At least one B.A. major(Major, Double Major, or Interdisciplinary Major) must match the applied M.A. major.

Step 2) Admission to the Graduate School of Pan-Pacific International Studies
• Admission Units Majors : IT&EC, IB, IR, IDC, MIDAC, MCNEC
• Application Schedule: During the GSP admission cycle held in the first semester of the senior year(1st semester: around May / 2nd semester: around October)
• Required Documents: Refer to the GSP Admission Guidelines
• Selection Method: Comprehensive evaluation based on document screening and interviews. Up to 20 students per year may be admitted to the Integrated Bachelor’s–Master’s Program.
Step 3) Application for Early Graduation under the Integrated Bachelor’s–Master’s Program (College of International Studies)
• Eligibility to Apply: Students who have applied for the Integrated Bachelor’s–Master’s Program and have been admitted to the Graduate School
• Application Period: Announced separately(1st semester: early July / 2nd semester: early January)
• Application Method: Submit the application form to the Administrative Office of the College of International Studies
• Application Requirements
1)Completion of graduate school enrollment registration for the relevant semester
2)Overall GPA of 3.2 or higher
3)Completion of at least 6 graduate credits
4)Fulfillment of undergraduate graduation requirements
• Required Documents
1) Application form for early graduation under the Integrated Bachelor’s–Master’s Program (1 copy)
2) Academic transcript (for reference) (1 copy)
Credit Completion and Credit Recognition
• After acceptance, students may begin taking both undergraduate and graduate courses from the second semester of the junior year (up to 3 additional graduate credits per semester)
• A total of 6–12 graduate credits may be earned before undergraduate graduation
• Graduate credits taken during the undergraduate program may be recognized as follows:
– Up to 9 credits toward undergraduate graduation requirements
– Up to 6 credits toward the master’s degree program
• If the GPA in the second semester of the junior year or the first semester of the senior year falls below the required standard, the student will be disqualified from the program
